New York Giants Defensive End Jason Pierre-Paul has reportedly been injured in a fireworks accident.
Pierre-Paul is coming off of a 13 sack season and was hoping to receive a long-term contract from the Giants this summer. The team gave him their franchise tag but he has yet to sign his tender. This injury could seriously affects whether he gets paid as a top-tier defensive end.
The severity of the injury is still unknown but it’s been rumored that he may have lost a few fingers. JPP, the Giants and all NFL fans are hoping that he didn’t do any long-lasting damage to himself.
We all know that the 4th of July is a fun-loving holiday but please be safe while using fireworks.
